Things to know before moving into North Point

The 'East Coast Park Precinct'
The Planning Department has proposed building the 'East Coast Park Precinct' on the reclaimed land in North Point. The precinct will have a biking lane and a seaside promenade, bringing local residents closer to the harbour. The consultation is expected to completed by the end of this year.

 

School Net
North Point belongs to primary school net No. 14, which includes SKH St Michael Primary School, North Point Methodist Primary School, and North Point Government Primary School. Its secondary school net belongs to the Eastern District, with schools such as Belilios Public School, Cheung Chuk Shan College, the Church of Christ in China Kwei Wah Shan College and Kiangsu-Chekiang College. The area also has Hong Kong Shue Yan University, as well as international schools including Chinese International School, Hong Kong Japanese School and Kiangsu-Chekiang College International Section.

Novum Point

Located on 3 Marble Road, this standalone new development offers 281 units, ranging from studio to two-bedroom flats with saleable areas ranging from 181 to 417 square feet. It is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2020. Unit 28B, with a saleable area of 248 square feet, a 213-square-foot balcony and a 95-square-foot terrace, was recently sold for HK$12.4 million, or HK$50,000 per square foot, creating a new record for one-bedroom flats in the Eastern District.

 

Fleur Pavilia

This joint project by New World Development and Peterson Group is located on 1 Kai Yuen Street, and consists of three blocks offering a total of 611 units, most of which are three- to four-bedrooms, and is expected to be put to use this September. The minimum sales price for the first batch of 247 units was HK$20 million, with 237 units sold.

Victoria Harbour

Developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties, Victoria Harbour is a two-phase development located on 133 Java Road, offering 355 and 347 units respectively. Apart from studio to four-bedroom units, the project also boasts special units. As a harbour-side complex, the project is connected to the Harbour North shopping mall, Hotel VIC on the Harbour and a public transport interchange. Unit 5A in Block 2, with a saleable area of 1,599 square feet,

was recently sold through a bidding process at HK$73.912 million, or HK$46,223 per square foot.

 

Harbour Glory

Located on 32 City Garden Road, this CK Asset Holdings development has six blocks and 378 units, with saleable areas between 432 and 1,595 square feet. It has one- to four-bedroom flats as well as a hotel. Unit 33B in Block 7, a special rooftop unit with four bedrooms, a saleable area of 1,317 square feet and a 390-square-foot terrace, was recently sold for HK$68.221 million, or HK$51,800 per square foot.
