In this Hong Kong house tour, we visit Villa Lucca 林海山城 in Tai Po to explore one of the development’s two signature houses: 1 Villa Avenue. In a city where land is scarce and most homes are built vertically, this 6,268 sq ft residence stands out for its unusual annexed layout, featuring both a main house and a separate guest house on one property.

The main house is designed across three storeys with an L-shaped layout, five bedrooms, four ensuite bathrooms, and generous indoor-outdoor spaces. Highlights include an 850 sq ft living and banquet area, a 2,404 sq ft garden inspired by Tuscan landscaping, two dining rooms, a closed kitchen with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and a family dining area that opens into the courtyard.

Connected by a covered walkway, the guest house spans around 885 sq ft over two floors, with its own living room, open kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and powder room. It feels almost self-contained, making it especially interesting for multigenerational living, older children, long-stay guests, or families who want more privacy while staying close together.

Back in the main house, we tour the first-floor sitting room and ensuite bedrooms, before heading up to the master suite, which takes up the entire second floor. With panoramic sea views, a wraparound terrace, a spa-like marble bathroom, and a separate study, the home combines luxury finishes with a strong connection to nature. Upstairs is a 1,000 sq ft rooftop designed for entertaining, barbecues, and enjoying the surrounding mountain and sea views.

Meanwhile, the unmodified apartment in Tower 10, Unit 5B, offering over 2,300 sq ft of space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, private lift lobbies, a large terrace, and a rooftop of over 1,100 sq ft.
