Today on Squarefoot, we explore a Japanese-inspired luxury house at Solace, a brand-new development in Stanley, one of Hong Kong’s serene seaside towns.

Priced by tender, this three-storey detached house is one of just six exclusive units in the project.

Spanning 2,754 sq ft, the home features four bedrooms and four bathrooms, designed by the British interior design firm Studio PDP. It also includes a private garden and rooftop for tranquil outdoor living.

A discreet gate leads to a 269 sq ft car parking area, ensuring convenience and privacy.

The living room is finished with sophisticated wood and stone elements, boasting 4.3m ceilings and full-height glass doors that flood the space with natural light. Adjacent to this space is the dining area, which includes an Italian marble eight-seater table and a wood kitchen island.

The nearly 1,600 sq ft outdoor courtyard is adorned with a striking green wall and built-in planters, offering a serene and stylish retreat.

The kitchen opens to a back garden equipped with an outdoor island and a built-in wine cooler, perfect for entertaining.

On the first floor, the master suite is a true sanctuary, complete with a king-size bed and a Japanese-style terrace. The master en-suite and walk-in wardrobe are crafted with warm wood tones and a focus on functional storage.

The second floor features three generously sized bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom for maximum comfort and privacy.

Finally, the 808 sq ft rooftop provides an expansive space for relaxation or entertainment, with stunning views of the surrounding area.
