Mr Leung said that subsidized home ownership is an important part of the government's work, the government allocated 27 billion yuan for housing reserves, indicating that the government has the determination and strategy, providing land for public housing, will also provide financial support. He said the government's financial burden of public housing with special emphasis on construction costs continue to rise, housing rent subsidy margin large enough to pay the rent charged by the administration and other expenses, and therefore require a larger provision for the establishment of reserves.
The public housing in the next 10 years accounted for 60%
Mr Leung said the government over a period of time to do demand-control measures to curb speculation,but the property prices and rents are still rising, so 'To get to the root, or to increase the supply,' emphasized the government except to providing rental units and the introduction of land to build private homes,but will also spare no effort to provide HOS for the middle class, are determined in the next 10 years in the construction of housing units, the introduction of 60% of public housing.
