The past weekend saw about 445 new home sales, a 40% week-on-week increase, reaching the highest level in four months.

The surge was largely driven by the first round of sales at Eight Southpark in Kowloon City, which completely sold out all 181 units on launch day, generating over HK$960 million in sales revenue.

According to the developer, several bulk purchases were recorded, with one buyer snapping up four units, and three buyers each purchasing three units. In response to the strong demand, the developer is now considering a new batch of units for release soon.

Another project, Coasto in Ap Lei Chau, which launched on the same day, also saw strong demand, selling 55 out of 60 available units over the weekend– 92% of the available inventory.

Including three premium terrace units sold earlier at higher prices, the project has now sold a total of 58 units.
