Despite poor weather conditions this past weekend, new property sales remained strong. From August 2 to 3, the market recorded 106 new transaction deals, marking a 40% increase compared to last week’s 76 transactions.
One of the standout performers was Villa Garda II in Lohas Park, Tseung Kwan O. Over the weekend, the project launched a new sales round, selling 49 units in two days and generating over HK$250 million in revenue.
On Saturday, the project released a new price list and offered 38 one-bedroom units for sale. Despite the Hong Kong Observatory issuing a Black Rainstorm Warning, eager buyers braved the rain to select their units. All 38 units sold out on the same day, generating nearly HK$200 million.
The highest transaction was for Unit G on the 66th floor of Tower 2A, with a usable area of 347 square feet, selling for HK$5.492 million at a price of HK$15,829 per square foot.
Additionally, other units in the same development were sold over the weekend, bringing the total to 49 units sold in two days, with cumulative revenue exceeding HK$250 million. According to the developers, Villa Garda II has sold 1,186 units since its launch, with total sales revenue amounting to HK$9.3 billion.
