周大福8.5億購葵涌工廈

香港文匯報訊（記者梁悅琴）周大福珠寶(1929)昨日宣布，向新世界(0017)及周大福企業訂立關連交易買賣協議，以8.5億元收購葵涌禾塘咀街世和中心百分之百權益。該集團目前按市場租值租用該物業約三分之一的樓面面積用作珠寶工場及香港營運中心。

該交易須待（其中包括）買方滿意其就目標集團及該物業所作盡職審查的結果方告完成，將為今年7月31日（或賣方與買方可能書面協定的其他日期）。

世和中心為25層工業大廈，建築面積共約299,153方呎，是次連同多個泊車位成交。目前該物業主要供該集團成員公司、新世界發展及其他第三方租用。周大福珠寶董事認為取得長期物業可配合日後發展的良機，對現有運作所受到的滋擾減至最低。此外，該集團預期可節省在香港租用現有工場及辦公室所需的部分租金開支，又可透過出租該物業樓面賺取租金收入。
