Tai Koo, located in the Eastern District, is one of those well-equipped areas.

Taikoo Shing

Phases of Taikoo Shing’s development was constructed between 1977 and 1987, Taikoo Shing comprises of 61 residential buildings with a total of 12,698 units, unit sizes ranging from 585 to 1,237 square feet and a high-efficiency rate of over 80%. A low-level F unit in Harbour View Gardens Marigold Mansion, with a saleable area of 897 square feet, was recently sold at HK$15.3 million which is equivalent to HK$17,057 per square foot.

Westlands Court

Located on 5-11 Westlands Road, this 32-year-old estate consists of four buildings, offering 652 units with construction areas between 476 and 523 square feet, most of which are two-bedroom flats. A mid-level F unit in Gee Lan Mansion, with a saleable area of 379 square feet, was recently rented out for HK$16,500 per month, making the per-square-foot rent HK$44 per month.

Westlands Gardens

The 42-year-old Westlands Gardens is located on 1025-1037 King’s Road and has six buildings and a total of 624 units, most of which are large flats with high-efficiency rates. A high-level two-bedroom unit in Block E, with a saleable area of 848 square feet, was recently sold for HK$13.68 million, or HK$16,132 per square foot. 

Splendid Place

This standalone building located on 39 Tai Koo Shing Road was developed 13 years ago, and offers 142 one- to three-bedroom units, including interconnected units. A high-level A unit, with a saleable area of 365 square feet, was recently sold at HK$6.72 million or $18,411 per square foot.
