pentahotel Tuen Mun

Even though pentahotel Tuen Mun is marketed to guests as a hotel, the property offers a stay that is unlike what you would expect from a traditional hotel; it’s been reimagined.

Newly opened in July this year, pentahotel Tuen Mun is the second addition to the hotel group’s portfolio in Hong Kong and joins its sister property, pentahotel Kowloon in Kai Tak. pentahotel Tuen Mun’s location is only a short walk from the Tuen Mun MTR station and is conveniently reachable from Macau, Shenzhen Bay Port and Hong Kong International Airport. Making it fuss-free for guests, pentahotel offers airport and city pick ups - a great option for business travellers. Located on Tsun Wen Road, there’s a range of dining outlets and a shopping mall nearby, making it easy to purchase daily amenities without having to leave the area.

The hotel’s brand message, 'We don’t do normal', is apparent throughout the entire property – from its décor to its bar check-in – a concept that is relatively new in Hong Kong. One of the highlights of the property is the pentalounge. Open 24/7, pentalounge is the group’s equivalent of a hotel reception, but also doubles as a lobby and bar. Emanating the feeling of a living room, pentalounge is decked out with large couches, bookshelves and paintings, giving a warm and cosy atmosphere. The lounge also has a mouth-watering menu; serving up some of the city’s traditional dishes and drinks like char-grilled pork and milk tea. When the sun goes down, the area transforms into a bar and is equipped with a pool table and game consoles.

With 298 rooms, pentahotel spreads over 16 floors in a former industrial building in the neighbourhood of Tuen Mun. The refurbished building has retained its industrial elements but is now decked out with edgy and cool interiors. There’s a sense of fun and eccentricity as soon as you walk in. The hotel’s friendly staff and service make guests feel right at home from the get go.
