Why is Tuen Mun such a popular location? Other than the fresh air and the green scenery, most residents appreciate the well-built infrastructure, extensive school network and everyday convenience the area has to offer.

Infrastructure


In terms of transportation, Tuen Mun is served by multiple bus and mini bus routes, the MTR and light rail that can take you to nearly anywhere in Hong Kong. There is also the Tuen Mun Ferry Pier that travels Tung Chung and Tai O.

If you are driving, Tuen Mun is right next to Route 30, allowing you to reach Kowloon in 25 minutes and Central in 30. On top of that, travelling to China and Macau will soon be easier as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is scheduled to complete at the end of 2017. Additional works in progress include Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link and Tuen Mun Western Bypass.



If you are looking for entertainment, Tuen Mun has a public riding school, a public golf driving range, six beaches and a 20-hectre EcoPark. In addition, the area is home to various points of attraction such as the hundred year old village of Lung Kwu Tan, the Reptile House in Tuen Mun Park, the historical Tin Hau Temple and Ancestral Hall of Tsing Chuen Wai, just to name a few.


School Network

For families with children of school age, having a good school network is always their number one priority. Tuen Mun belongs to School Net 70 and 71 and Tuen Mun School District with 66 kindergartens, 35 primary schools, 38 secondary schools and 7 tertiary institutes such as Lingnan University and Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. The area is also served by international schools like Harrow and the upcoming Mount Kelly (September 2017). With such as extensive list, parents will have no worries in finding the right school for their children no matter the age.

Tuen Mun has a massive selection of over 50 private residential estates to choose from, the most popular ones include Hong Kong Gold Coast, Aegean Coast, The Sherwood, Century Gateway and more.

New Developments in Tuen Mun

NAPA
Scheduled to complete in March 2018, NAPA offers a total of 240 units in the form of typical (431-851 sq.ft.) and special (1243-1354 sq.ft.) units and houses that range from 1763 to 2884 sq.ft.

2GETHER
A single tower building with two wings, 2GETHER offers 222 units in studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom layout. Most of the units possess an impressive sea view through ceiling to floor windows. The development is ready for move-in by mid 2018.



Ori
Consisting of two towers, the 24-storey Ori offers 1-bedroom to 3-bedroom units, totally to 370 units.
