By volume, Barratt Group is the UK’s largest house builder, recording almost 13,000 home sales in the last financial year. Clearly Barratt is doing what it can to ease the UK’s supply shortfall. To that end, Barratt Homes has recently launched Queensland Terrace, a 375-unit Zone 2 London development.
Located in the city’s Islington district and within striking distance of central London due to excellent transport links — it’s just minutes to King’s Cross and Victoria on the Tube, with stations within walking distance — Queensland Terrace is ideally located for both business and leisure. Islington is one of London’s most vivid neighbourhoods, and the surrounding area is dotted with boutique retail, innovative dining and cultural amenities as well as the expansive green space of Highbury Fields.
When completed Queensland Terrace will comprise three modern towers in a terrace structure with a podium foundation. Designed by architectural firm CZWG, which is renowned for its structural creativity, the project also features a residents’ fitness centre, 24-hour concierge services and outdoor space on the majority of individual units. Studio to three-bedroom suites and three-bedroom penthouses are priced beginning at £282,000 (approximately HK$3.4 million). Local analysts are estimating initial rental yields of up to 5.85 percent, making Queensland Terrace an excellent investment; Islington is a popular location for actually living in. “Queensland Terrace’s location is known around the world but … this is a very popular neighbourhood because of the appealing lifestyle available here,” said Gary Patrick, Barratt Homes regional sales director in a statement. “Being able to commute to work in under 30 minutes while having an array of popular independent shops, restaurants and pubs nearby makes Queensland Terrace a very desirable place to live.”
Queensland Terrace will be presented in an exhibition at 7/F Conrad Hong Kong Bowen Room, March 9-10 from 11am to 7pm. For more information contact James Hall on +852 6013 3305 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
