櫸樹街工廈申變酒店

香港文匯報訊 (記者顏倫樂) 酒店房間不足，不少發展商將可作住宅發展的土地申請轉為酒店圖利。大角咀櫸樹街37號興業中心，現時為15層高工業大廈，坐落於「住宅(戊類)」地帶，業主放棄住宅發展，向城規會申請改裝為酒店，提供48個房間，提供非住用樓面共17,594方呎，其中酒店佔16,805方呎，零售佔789方呎。

與此同時，旺角廣東道1125至1127號亦申請改建為1幢酒店，項目同樣位於「住宅(戊類)」地帶，樓高8層，改建後將提供49個酒店房間，非住用樓面14,639方呎。

大圍劍橋護老院再申重建

此外，富田國際發展向城規會申請，把大圍積存街60至68號劍橋護老院重建為1幢15層高的辦公室大樓(包括3層地庫)，提供非住用樓面30,398方呎。據了解，申請人2009年起曾3度向城規會申請把護老院重建，首2次分別擬議商店及酒店，但遭城規會拒絕，最近一次為去年申請擬議辦公室連商店等，最終主動撤回申請。
