Since the opening of the HKU station in 2014, reaching the campus has become much more convenient and time-saving. Take Exit A1 if you are heading for the West Gate and Loke Yew Hall, Exit A2 for Chow Yei Ching Building, Haking Wong Building, Knowles Building, Loke Yew Hall, Rayson Huang Theatre, Run Run Shaw Building and Sun Yat-sen Place on Main Campus, and Exit C1 for Jockey Club Student Village I, Ricci Hall and Centennial Campus (Cheng Yu Tung Tower, Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre, Run Run Shaw Tower, The Jockey Club Tower).

Mini Bus and Bus

There are plenty of bus and mini bus routes that go to The University of Hong Kong but if the route passes through Garden Road and Caine Road, the traffic is usually pretty bad, so remember to leave home earlier.

For those coming from Kowloon or the New Territories, take mini buses or buses that use the Western Cross-Harbour Tunnel, that’s the quickest way to reach the Main Campus.
