Hong Kong Flower Show 2016 is now showing at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay until 20 March 2016. For better crowd control, you can now enter the event by using your Octopus Card.

This year, the event features “Antirrhinum majus” as its theme flower which is originally from Mediterranean Sea. “Antirrhinum” is a combination of “anti” and “rhinos” which is describing the shape of the flowers. You must be impressed by the multiple colours and shapes of these lovely flowers.

Other than the theme flower, you can also found a rich profusion of exquisite potted plants, beautiful floral arrangements and gorgeous landscape displays from local, the Mainland and overseas. It would be a great time and great chance to see the new floral designs and take photos. There will also be commercial stalls selling flowers and other horticultural products. Let’s bring something smelled good and looked nice back to home.

During the show period, a rich diversity of educational and recreational fringe activities will also be organized for the enjoyment of visitors of all ages. They include student drawing competition, exhibit competition, music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, greening activities workshops, green promotional game stalls, guided visits, recreation programmes and fun games. Of course, you can’t miss the “must-have” event – photo competition.
