To mark the 16th anniversary of British brand Waitrose gracing the store’s shelves, PARKnSHOP has rolled out celebration offers on the various product lines available. These include Heston from Waitrose, a gourmet selection; Duchy Originals’ premium organic range; Seriously from Waitrose desserts; and Waitrose Cooks’ Ingredients for quality home cooking.

HESTON from Waitrose

Made in collaboration with England’s most innovative chef Heston Blumenthal, the Chocolate Sauce is a dairy-free creation using wheat glucose syrup as the base, along with Madagascan dark chocolate, cocoa liquor, cocoa powder, sea salt, and espresso natural flavouring. It is best heated up and used as topping for ice cream or dipping sauce for fruit.

Popcorn has turned into a gourmet snack, with one of the tastiest options being Salted Caramel Popcorn by Heston from Waitrose. As the name suggests, it brings together two all-time favourite flavours.

Founded by Prince Charles and now jointly produced by Waitrose, Duchy Originals signifies the best of Britain’s organic foods. Deserving a spot in the pantry is the Organic Wholegrain Mustard with Old Ruby Ale, which is produced from brown and yellow mustard varieties. The yellow seeds, plus the rare breed of English barley used in brewing the ale, are grown on the fully organic Duchy Home Farm in Highgrove.

Waitrose Seriously

Under the guidance of an expert Italian chocolatier, Waitrose Seriously has created a unique chocolate experience with its intense Milk Chocolate bars containing 49% cocoa. The chocolate is smooth, creamy and perfectly balanced by robust hints of cocoa throughout. All-butter Coffee Shortbread is among the newest sweet treats under the Waitrose Seriously label. Flavoured with ground coffee, these biscuits are rich-tasting with a crumbly texture and the perfect accompaniment to a cup of coffee.

Waitrose Cooks’ Ingredients

Waitrose has an extensive range of high-quality baking ingredients and decorations, suitable for both beginners and more accomplished bakers. Featured items include the Waitrose Cooks’ Homebaking Blue Stardust, an edible glitter for adding sparkle to cakes, and the Waitrose Cooks’ Homebaking Sugar Butterflies, intended as a cake topper.

Healthy Pick

Last but not least, Waitrose’s Deliciously Smooth Low-Fat Yogurts are produced by a small West Country dairy situated in Somerset’s beautiful Mendip Hills. Madagascan vanilla and toffee flavours are available in a four-pack of single servings, with two of each flavour.
