The project was located in the privileged mid-level of Tai Po Road, surrounded by open mountain scene. In the eye of the designer, the view is the tranquility in the hustle and buzzle city life. To allow the tenants to enjoy the view, simplicity was adopted as the design element. The wall is plain, matched with walnut to give a warm and relaxing feeling connecting the sunshine and breeze from the outside.
The living room is the most common area for use. To create a simple space, cabinets are hidden inside the wall to give a harmony feeling. The main living room and the reading room are bridged to give a more open area and make the parents easier to take of their children’s school work. The children’s room has used the nature’s tone of blue and green to connect with the mountain view.
